After all, the only person who controls what you put in your mouth is you, right?

Spoonacular is a recipe search engine that sources recipes from across the web. We do our best to find recipes suitable for many diets — whether vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, etc. — but we cannot guarantee that a recipe's ingredients are safe for your diet. Always read ingredient lists from the original source (follow the link from the "Instructions" field) in case an ingredient has been incorrectly extracted from the original source or has been labeled incorrectly in any way. Moreover, it is important that you always read the labels on every product you buy to see if the product could cause an allergic reaction or if it conflicts with your personal or religious beliefs. If you are still not sure after reading the label, contact the manufacturer.

We also attempt to estimate the cost and calculate the nutritional information for the recipes found on our site. Again, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information. Eggs Benedict on the menu? Try pairing with Chardonnay and Cava. Sparkling wine--with our without orange juice--is an obvious choice for eggs. With buttery hollandaise sauce, though, you might opt for a fuller white wine like chardonnay. The Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay (Anniversary Label) with a 4.1 out of 5 star rating seems like a good match. It costs about 11 dollars per bottle.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay (Anniversary Label)

Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay is a pleasurable, food-friendly wine. It is crafted in a fresh, soft style with bright apple and sweet citrus fruit character with subtle spice and oak nuances. This special 50th Anniversary bottling celebrates five decades of Chateau Ste. Michelle’s commitment to tradition, innovation and the future. Pairs well with crab, poultry, salmon, and scallops. Try seasoning with ginger, lemon zest, tarragon, or thyme.

Instructions

Prepare Knorr Hollandaise Sauce according to package instructions. Brown Canadian Bacon in a frying pan and toast English muffins. While bacon is cooking, poach the eggs. Fill a medium sized sauce pan half way with water. Add 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar (this is optional but the vinegar helps hold the egg together). Bring to a gentle boil and carefully add eggs (1-2 at a time works best). Poach eggs for 2-3 minutes or until yolk has set to your preference. Remove eggs one at a time with a slotted spoon. Layer ingredients as follows: English muffin, Canadian Bacon, Eggs, Hollandaise Sauce.
