Instructions

  1. Place water and sugar over low-medium heat, stir to melt sugar.
  2. Add ginger, let steep over low heat, 5 minutes.
  3. Off heat and let steep and cool; strain out ginger.
  4. This is your ginger simple syrup)
  5. Pour syrup, orange juice, triple sec, light rum and soda together.
  6. Shake or stir.
  7. Pour over ice cubes and serve (or strain and serve 'up').
