After all, the only person who controls what you put in your mouth is you, right?

Spoonacular is a recipe search engine that sources recipes from across the web. We do our best to find recipes suitable for many diets — whether vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, etc. — but we cannot guarantee that a recipe's ingredients are safe for your diet. Always read ingredient lists from the original source (follow the link from the "Instructions" field) in case an ingredient has been incorrectly extracted from the original source or has been labeled incorrectly in any way. Moreover, it is important that you always read the labels on every product you buy to see if the product could cause an allergic reaction or if it conflicts with your personal or religious beliefs. If you are still not sure after reading the label, contact the manufacturer.

We also attempt to estimate the cost and calculate the nutritional information for the recipes found on our site. Again, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information. Sparkling Wine, Tempranillo, and Grenache are great choices for Migas. Even if you aren't making mimosas, sparkling wine is great with eggs for two reasons. One, if you're eating eggs early in the day, sparkling wine has less alcohol. Secondly, it cleanses the palate, which is important since yolk is known to coat the palate. One wine you could try is NV Armon. It has 5 out of 5 stars and a bottle costs about 16 dollars.

NV Armon

It is a very refreshing drink, with full berry type aromatic flavor. There are hints of dark raisins of the nose with appealing fresh Strawberry. Best served cold with ice cubes, as a dessert to any meal.

Instructions

  1. Pick the hunk of stale bread and dice it carefully.
  2. Put the diced bread in a large bowl. Then sprinkle the bread with water, enough to slightly moisten it.
  3. Sprinkle the salt and toss the bread to evenly distribute the salt. Do the same with the pimentn. Then cover with a damp cloth and leave to rest overnight.
  4. The next day, pour 6-8 tablespoons of olive oil in a deep frying pan and put it on medium heat.
  5. Cut the garlic cloves in half, without peeling.
  6. Fry the garlic until lightly browned, just to flavor the oil, then discard.
  7. Add the crumbled or diced chorizo, the ham and the bacon. Stir-fry till they're almost done.
  8. Tip the diced bread on the pan. Toss and turn around for the bread to thoroughly soak the oil.
  9. Go on tossing for 3-4 minutes, on medium heat. The migas should be lightly toasted and crisp on the outside, while they should remain soft in the inside.
