After all, the only person who controls what you put in your mouth is you, right?

Spoonacular is a recipe search engine that sources recipes from across the web. We do our best to find recipes suitable for many diets — whether vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, etc. — but we cannot guarantee that a recipe's ingredients are safe for your diet. Always read ingredient lists from the original source (follow the link from the "Instructions" field) in case an ingredient has been incorrectly extracted from the original source or has been labeled incorrectly in any way. Moreover, it is important that you always read the labels on every product you buy to see if the product could cause an allergic reaction or if it conflicts with your personal or religious beliefs. If you are still not sure after reading the label, contact the manufacturer.

We also attempt to estimate the cost and calculate the nutritional information for the recipes found on our site. Again, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information. Turkey Chili on the menu? Try pairing with Sparkling Wine, Alcoholic Drink, and White Wine. Reviewers quite like it with a 5 out of 5 star rating and a price of about 17 dollars per bottle.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place poblano and jalapeno peppers on a baking sheet lined with foil, drizzle with olive oil, and rub to coat. Roast peppers in oven about 30 minutes, turning once during roasting. Remove from oven, immediately wrap loosely in foil, and let sit 15-30 minutes. Peel off and discard the skin. Remove the seeds and ribs, and discard. Dice peppers and set aside. Heat 2 Tbsp olive in in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and saute until softened, 5 to 8 minutes. Add ground turkey and heat until cooked through, breaking up into pieces and stirring occasionally as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper. Once cooked, add chili powder, chipotle peppers, jalapeno and poblano peppers, and adobo sauce. Stir to combine then add chicken stock, beans, and tomatoes. Cover, reduce heat to low, and let cook at least 1 to 2 hours, stirring ocassionally. Season with salt, pepper, and chili powder to taste before serving. Serve in bowls topped with sour cream and chopped fresh parsley.
