Instructions

  1. Butter one side of bread slices.
  2. Spread preserves on unbuttered sides of bread.
  3. Layer walnuts, green onions and cheese.
  4. Top with other slice of bread, buttered side up.
  5. Heat a thick bottomed pan over medium heat.
  6. Grill assembled sandwiches buttered side down, flipping once to lightly brown both sides of sandwich.
