Food Blog vs. Real Attempt

- Written by on February 5th 2015

We've all been there. You found the most delicious looking recipe on Pinterest or on a food blog with the promise that you too can create this impressive dish in just a half hour...and then when you go for it, you fall flat on your face. Worst of all, your face doesn't even land in a yummy cake or scrumptious dinner, but rather in the unappetizing failed attempt you spent the last couple hours on.

Just remember - you are not alone. There are entire blogs devoted to these lapses in judgment. We try to remember the KISS principle when it comes to cooking by searching for easy recipes using our search engine, such as these simple vegetarian curries. "Easy" recipes on spoonacular have fewer ingredients and shorter preparation/cooking times.
